Read footnotes in place

Following footnotes in an ebook can be so jarring (and currently, as I pointed out in another feature request, there is no easy way to return). Kindle has a feature which I love, where it displays the footnote text in a small pop-over in place on the page where you are reading. It feels so much more connected to the reading experience and it avoids any hassle with getting back to where you were reading.
