Widgets for mobile apps
Adding the ability to add BookFusion widgets to your homescreen on mobile devices would be a welcome addition, both on Android and iOS. These widgets could take multiple forms/sizes, but a couple examples are below.
1. A quick launch that allows you to jump straight into the last ebook you were reading, perhaps also showing your current percent progress through the book. This offers a quick look at how much is remaining in your current book, but also lets you jump straight into it instead of opening the app and then selecting the book. The library app Libby does something similar, seen below.
2. A tracker for your current day, week, or even month's reading progress, something that BookFusion already tracks in order to send out Weekly Reading Summary emails. Those emails show which books were read and for how long, so this could be enhanced within BookFusion to allow people to actually set goals for themselves, and then that tracking could be adapted to a widget for easy reference. A basic framework example for these types of numbesr can be seen below.
Do you have more ideas for widgets you'd like to see? Let us know in the comments. :)
